What we do

Everyday dentistry, plus the bigger work when you need it.

Most of what happens here is routine: a check-up, a clean, a filling replaced before it becomes a problem. We also take on longer cases, and we will tell you honestly when something is better referred elsewhere.

General dentistry

Examinations, x-rays, white fillings, root canal treatment and extractions. This is the bread and butter of the practice.

Check-up £55 More on general care

Hygiene and gum health

Scaling, polishing and airflow with Marta, our hygienist. Gum measurements are recorded so you can see whether things are improving.

From £75 More on hygiene visits

Cosmetic work

Composite bonding and veneers, usually to close a small gap or repair a chipped edge. We will show you a mock-up first.

Bonding from £250 More on cosmetic work

Teeth whitening

Custom trays made from your own impressions, used at home over two to three weeks. Supervised by a dentist, as the law requires.

£395 More on whitening

Dental implants

A titanium root and a crown on top, used to replace a missing tooth. It is a longer process than most people expect, so we plan it properly.

From £2,400 More on implants

Invisalign

Clear removable aligners for crowding or a relapsed smile after childhood braces. They only work if you wear them, which we will be blunt about.

From £2,950 More on Invisalign
Halliwell Plan

Spread the routine cost over the year.

£19.50per person, per month

Our membership plan covers the appointments most people need anyway, collected by Direct Debit on the first of the month. There is a minimum term of three months, then one month's notice to stop.

  • Two examinations a year, including x-rays when they are due
  • Two 30 minute hygiene appointments a year
  • 10% off fillings, crowns, bridges and cosmetic treatment
  • One emergency appointment a year at no extra charge, in practice hours
  • Worldwide dental trauma and emergency cover through our plan provider

The plan is not insurance for treatment you already need. If you join with work outstanding, we will price that separately and honestly.

I had not been to a dentist in nine years and said so on the phone. Nobody made me feel stupid about it. Dr Raman turned the screen round, showed me the two teeth that needed work, and we split them across separate visits so it was not all in one go.

Seen at 8:35 for an 8:30 appointment and out by nine. That punctuality matters when you are going straight to work afterwards.

Really pleased with the whitening result. One mark off because the first tray did not fit properly, although they remade it inside a week and did not charge me for it.

Marta is thorough. She showed me on a hand mirror exactly where I keep missing on my lower left, which was mildly humbling, but it has changed the way I brush.

My son is autistic and very sound sensitive. They let us come in twice just to sit in the chair and look at the suction before anything happened. That is the only reason the actual appointment was possible.

Had an implant done here in 2025. The full cost was in writing before I agreed to anything, and the crown matches the tooth next to it closely enough that I have stopped noticing it.

Look around

Have a look before you walk in.

A lot of dental anxiety is really anxiety about the unknown. These are the rooms you would see on a first visit, drawn as illustrations while our photography is being redone.

If you are dreading it

We would rather see you late than not at all.

Plenty of our patients arrive after a long gap, often because of something that happened in a dental chair years ago. We are not going to lecture you about it. The first appointment can be a conversation with nothing in your mouth at all, if that is what gets you through the door.

We can agree a stop signal before we start, book longer slots so nothing feels rushed, and break treatment into stages. For some people that is enough. For others we can arrange sedation with a visiting sedationist, and we will talk you through what that involves and what it costs.

Tell us on the phone

Say you are nervous when you book. It goes on your record so nobody has to be told twice.

Come and see the room

Sit in the chair with it upright. Ask what everything is. No treatment happens at that visit.

Go at your pace

Hand up means stop, and we stop. Most people find the second appointment much easier than the first.

The people here

Three dentists, one hygienist, and Sian on the front desk.

The team has been stable for years, which means you tend to see the same person each time. Everyone clinical is registered with the General Dental Council.

Dr Priya Raman

Principal Dentist
BDS (Leeds, 2009)

Bought the practice in 2016 after five years working here. Takes most of the implant cases and does the majority of new patient examinations.

GDC No. 184026

Dr Callum Adeyemi

Associate Dentist
BDS, MFDS RCS (Edinburgh)

Spent three years in hospital oral surgery before coming into practice. Handles most of our root canal treatment and difficult extractions.

GDC No. 241865

Marta Kowalczyk

Dental Hygienist
Diploma in Dental Hygiene

Sees patients directly, so you do not need to see a dentist first for a clean. Runs our gum health reviews and is very hard to argue with about flossing.
